Michigan book repository

Message to Employee Laura W.

Greetings Laura:

As you may have noticed, we don't, normally do this. Not just send notices to specific employees, we also have a, "case" for you i guess? You might know that we are, indeed, a book repository, and normally we wouldn't worry about something like this, but there is a specific book, that the people above need for some strange reason. I don't really know why, but they told me they *needed* it, with urgency, so you might want to do this, i don't want you losing your job you're a good employee. We need SOMEONE to actually organize boxes.

As of the book, they told me; barely anything, which isn't good for an "investigation", but they gave me some details:

It is brown, made of presumably leather, has "no author or any sort of cover" so i think this might be a historical book of some kind? They also mentioned the pages were yellow-ish, it seems old. Like, very old. They also briefly described to me an "odor", i have no idea what they were talking about, but they told me to tell you to "be wary of a metallic smell of blood" ... Which is concerning.

They also said to look out for forests or cabins, in which where to look, which, do they know that these aren't just in a map? like. whatever, they said that.

Oh, almost forgot, they were REALLY and i mean REALLY serious about this part: they said to "never, under ANY circumstances, should you or anyone read the book out loud, or spill any sort of bodily fluids - " they specified blood " - unto the book in any way". So. That's that i guess.

Well, i wish you the best in trying to find this book, seems impossible to me (if it even exists in the first place) but, upper management will be upper management.

And taking advantage of the fact that they don't check these letters, isn't it strange they're not asking like, a company? or museum or something? Why an employee?

Well, may god have mercy on you, because you sure will need it.

Sincerely, Lucya.

PS: By the way, apparently one of the delivery companies got the wrong order,

instead of books they send in a chainsaw. Could you try to solve that ordeal for me? Thanks.
